Cancelling your subscription

How to cancel your FeedbackMaster subscription and what happens to your data.

If you need to cancel your FeedbackMaster subscription, here’s what to know.

Before you cancel

Consider these alternatives:

  • Pausing activity — Keep your data and resume later
  • Downgrading — Switch to a smaller plan if available
  • Transferring ownership — Let another officer manage billing

How to cancel

Only the billing administrator or club officers can cancel:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click Manage Subscription
  3. Select Cancel Subscription
  4. Confirm your cancellation

What happens after cancellation

Immediately:

  • You’ll receive a cancellation confirmation email
  • No further charges will occur

Until your billing period ends:

  • Full access to all features continues
  • Your data remains intact
  • Members can still use FeedbackMaster

After your billing period ends:

  • Access becomes read-only (view history but can’t add new data)
  • Data is retained for a grace period
  • You can reactivate to restore full access

Data retention

After cancellation:

  • 90-day grace period — Data kept, can reactivate anytime
  • After 90 days — Data may be deleted permanently

Getting a refund

  • Annual subscriptions may be eligible for partial refunds
  • Contact support within 30 days of your last payment
  • Refunds are prorated based on unused time

Reactivating after cancellation

If you change your mind:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click Reactivate Subscription
  3. Update payment method if needed
  4. Your data will be fully restored

Cancellation confirmation

You’ll receive an email confirming:

  • Cancellation date
  • Last day of access
  • Data retention timeline

💡 Tip: Export your feedback data before your subscription fully expires if members want to keep their records.
