Learn how to add, edit, and manage speaking slots in your meetings.
Speaking slots are the core of FeedbackMaster — they’re where speakers are assigned and feedback is collected.
Adding a speaking slot
- Open a meeting from Club Management → Meetings
- Click Add Speaking Slot
- Select a member from your club
- Save the slot
What speakers can add
Once assigned, speakers can update their slot with:
- Speech title — What they’ll be speaking about
- Feedback focus — Specific areas they want feedback on
- Pathway project — Link to a specific Pathways project
Editing a speaking slot
As a club leader:
- Open the meeting
- Click on the speaking slot
- Make your changes (change speaker, remove slot, etc.)
As a speaker:
- Go to Dashboard or Meetings
- Click on your speaking slot
- Add or update your speech title and feedback focus
Removing a speaking slot
Club leaders can remove a speaking slot by:
- Opening the meeting
- Clicking on the slot
- Selecting Remove Slot
Tips for managing slots
- Create slots in advance so members can prepare
- Encourage speakers to add a feedback focus — it helps evaluators give targeted feedback
- Don’t create more slots than you expect to fill
💡 Tip: Speakers receive the most useful feedback when they specify what they want feedback on. Encourage members to always add a feedback focus.
