Meeting times showing wrong timezone

How to fix timezone issues with meeting times.

If meeting times look wrong, the timezone setting may need adjustment.

Understanding timezones in FeedbackMaster

FeedbackMaster uses your club’s timezone setting to display meeting times. If this is wrong, all times will appear incorrect.

Checking the club timezone

  1. Go to Settings → Club
  2. Look for the Timezone setting
  3. Verify it matches your club’s location

Changing the timezone

VPEs and Presidents can update the timezone:

  1. Go to Settings → Club
  2. Find the Timezone dropdown
  3. Select your correct timezone
  4. Save changes

Meeting times will update automatically.

Times still look wrong?

After changing the timezone, try:

  • Refreshing the page
  • Logging out and back in
  • Clearing your browser cache

Your browser’s timezone

FeedbackMaster converts times to your local timezone based on your browser/device settings. If your device’s timezone is wrong, times may display incorrectly even if the club setting is correct.

Check your device’s timezone settings in your operating system preferences.

Daylight saving time

Timezone changes happen automatically when daylight saving time begins or ends. If times suddenly seem off by an hour, give it a day for everything to sync.

💡 Tip: Choose a timezone by city name (e.g., “America/New_York”) rather than offset (e.g., “UTC-5”) so daylight saving adjustments happen automatically.
