How to resolve failed payments and keep your subscription active.
If a payment fails, don’t worry — here’s how to resolve it quickly.
Why payments fail
Common reasons include:
- Expired credit card
- Insufficient funds
- Card declined by bank
- Outdated billing information
- Bank fraud protection triggered
What happens when payment fails
- First attempt fails — We’ll notify you via email
- Retry period — We automatically retry the payment
- Grace period — Your subscription stays active temporarily
- Suspension — After multiple failures, features may be limited
How to fix a failed payment
Update your payment method:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Update Payment Method
- Enter new card details
- Save changes
The system will automatically retry the payment.
Retry manually:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Find the failed invoice
- Click Retry Payment
Checking payment status
In Settings → Billing, you’ll see:
- Current subscription status
- Any outstanding payments
- Last successful payment date
If payments keep failing:
- Check with your bank for blocks or restrictions
- Verify the billing address matches your card
- Try a different payment method
Preventing future failures
- Keep card details updated before expiration
- Ensure sufficient funds around billing dates
- Add FeedbackMaster to your bank’s trusted merchants
