Learn how to report feedback that violates community guidelines.
FeedbackMaster is committed to maintaining a supportive environment. If you receive feedback that’s inappropriate, you can report it.
When to report feedback
Consider reporting feedback that is:
- Personally attacking or harassing
- Discriminatory or offensive
- Completely unrelated to the speech
- Spam or inappropriate content
How to report feedback
- Go to My Feedback
- Find the feedback you want to report
- Click the Report button (flag icon)
- Select a reason for reporting
- Add any additional context (optional)
- Submit the report
What happens after reporting
- Pending — Your report is submitted and awaiting review
- Under Review — A club leader is investigating
- Resolved — Action has been taken, or the report was dismissed
Who reviews reports
VPEs and Presidents review reported feedback from Club Management → Reported Feedback. They can:
- View the reported feedback
- See the reason for the report
- Mark reports as resolved or dismiss them
- Add notes about their decision
Confidentiality
- Reports are confidential
- The person who gave the feedback won’t automatically know you reported it
- Club leaders handle reports with discretion
After a report is resolved
If feedback is found to violate guidelines, club leaders may:
- Remove the feedback
- Speak with the feedback giver
- Take other appropriate action
💡 Tip: Most feedback, even if critical, is given with good intentions. Use reporting for genuinely inappropriate content, not just feedback you disagree with.
