Understanding the data
A healthy club typically has:
- Mostly positive and constructive feedback
- Some critical feedback (it’s normal and helpful)
- Balanced distribution across members
Warning signs to watch for
- Sudden increase in critical feedback
- One member receiving disproportionately negative feedback
- Overall tone becoming less supportive
Taking action
If you notice concerning patterns:
- Review the specific feedback (without identifying givers)
- Consider addressing feedback culture in a club meeting
- Remind members of constructive feedback guidelines
- Reach out privately to members who may need support
Privacy considerations
- You see aggregate tone data, not who gave what feedback
- Individual feedback content remains private to recipients
- Use this data to guide club culture, not to identify “problem” members
💡 Tip: Share positive tone trends with your club! Celebrating a supportive feedback culture reinforces good behavior.
